A persuasive essay must always have a general thought, or a general idea, in which you want to convince the reader. A persuasive essay is very simple to a marketing tactics, when a company first creates the demand for the product, and afterwards – shows the product, for everybody to perceive it as a solution to the problem. The persuasive essay method – works the same way. You have to describe the problem you are facing very vividly, in order for the reader, to feel that problem, and project it, as his own problem.
Later on – you will show him the solution of your problem, and convince that it is the only best solution, supporting it with other points of your persuasive essay, and secondary ideas.
When writing a persuasive essay, you must understand that your number one goal is to make a person decide on his own that the best solution of the problem is the one, which you are giving out.
Lots of students are confused by that, as they think, that a persuasive essay, is a method to corner a person, to have him use the solution, which you are giving to him, without any alternatives. In that way, you are telling the reader, that everything is decided for you, and that you are only informing the reader, which may harm his feelings.
